I want to transfer money to my Public Provident Fund through Online netbanking.. if I submit the print outs of my ppf account statement would i be getting tax benefits .. or pass book is mandatory.. please advise.

You can show print for online statement of PPF account. Showing passbook as proof is not mandatory. It does not matter how you paid your amount, it should be invested into PPF account and you should get 80 cc tax benefit 

recently i opened a ppf account in Punjab national bank.Since there is no facility of getting online statements ,so should the photocopy of passbook is considered as a investment proof under section 80/C or is there any other way from where i can get the statement.

Anything among these can be submitted as proof for PPF - Online statement of PPF account or photocopy of stamped challan or PPF passbook
