PPF Query Satish, 24 Sep 2013

Am 37 yrs old , I am regular sip investor in MF's. Is it better for me to invest in PPF from now? generally am not interested in PPF product as its lock in period is 15 yrs which makes liquidity very tougher in near terms. Whats your opinion on the same can we have any other product then PPF or just good Mutual funds can be replaced for PPF?

Fintotal Answer

Hi Satish, good mutual funds are better than PPF. And moreover if you have Employee Provident Fund then you don't at all need PPF. Keep your portfolio simple just with funds you need.
